Upends the Myth That the Nuremberg Trials Did Not Focus “Enough” on Jews. Today’s Holocaust Narratives Get it Wrong About Deicide

In this volume, Jewish psychiatrist Goldensohn mentions “Jews” and “Jewish” at least 245 times! This is usually in conjunction with what today is called the Holocaust.

Nowadays, Holocaust museums typically present the German-made Holocaust as an outcome of centuries of Christian teachings about Jews (e. g, deicide), thereby implying that the two sets of events are connected. Sounds like a mystification of the Holocaust, alongside a healthy dose of anti-Christianity. Pointedly, no non-Jewish genocide is ever presented as a set of cumulative acts, spanning many centuries, that eventuated in that genocide. Only the Jews’ Holocaust gets this ahistorical privilege.

THE NAZIS, THE HOLOCAUST, AND CHRISTIANITY

Ironically, the interviewed Nuremberg defendants gave every imaginable evasion and excuse for their conduct, but blaming the Church for their acts against Jews does not occur even one time! Now, it would have been very easy for the Nazis to say “We just extended what the Church had been teaching for centuries”, or even that “Christianity and the Crucifixion of Christ is what animated us”, for their anti-Jewish policies, but they DON’T. Unlike today’s Judeocentrists, the Nazis don’t even invoke Christianity as some kind of vague precedent for their acts.

UNDERSTANDING NAZI BELIEFS ABOUT JEWS

So much for what the Nazis did not say. Here is a sampling of what the Nazi German defendants actually said about the Jews:

“Goering himself testified that Hitler did not follow through with the party program. For example, in the party program there is no call for the physical extermination of Jews, but rather merely the removal of their influence. The criminal step of exterminating the Jews physically was taken by Hitler during the war.” (Hans Frank, p. 64).

“An epoch with such happenings as the murder of 5 million Jews, the projective extermination of millions of Slavs — such an epoch must close up definitely once and for all. It cannot go dragging on and on.” (Hans Frank, p. 71). If Christianity is ultimately responsible for the German murder of millions of Jews, then why is Christianity not ultimately responsible for the German murder of millions of Slavs? Such is the reductio ad absurdum of the blame-Christianity narrative.

“I thought, as did so many others, at first that the anti-Semitism of the Nazis was a political point. It is true, though, and some of my Jewish friends agreed, that there was too high a percentage of Jews in the law, in the theater, and in the economic and cultural life of our Reich. Jewish influence in art and music were not true to German culture. How could it be? It was naturally Jewish. But I was not a radical. I did not foresee the mass murders or the extermination programs.” (Walther Funk, p. 128).

“There’s one thing I must say. When the prosecution states that dispossessing the Jews economically was the first step in a planned extermination of the Jews, they are wrong.” (Walther Funk. p. 134). A timely reminder that history does not run backward, only forward.

“‘Fritzsche said he wanted to continue to talk of the guilt for the war and the murder of the 5 million Jews. He mentioned that many Jewish journalists outside Germany made severe attacks on the Nazis, and that in a way caused new flare-ups of anti-Semitism within official Nazi circles. These men were not wrong, he pointed out, as history showed, but at the time they did utter false propaganda against Nazism, and this in a way caused the war and bitter anti-Jewish feeling. “But it is fully clear that it was not only the Jews who caused the war,’ Fritzsche said. ‘I’m no anti-Semite like Streicher, but I resisted the Jewish influence in the press and theater. I was in favor of bringing Jewish influence to a percentage of strength, in accord with their relative numbers.” (Goldensohn quoting Hans Fritzche, p. 115).

“Ribbentrop brushed aside the Jewish extermination events. He said that in the long view, historically, the Jews’ extermination would always be a blot on German history, but that it was in a way attributable to the fact that Hitler had lost his sense of proportion and, because he was losing the war, went ‘wild’ on the subject of the Jews.” (Goldensohn on Joachim von Ribbentrop, p. 253).

“Why couldn’t the Jews be allowed to remain where they were, in other lands? That would have been all right if they didn’t do bad things, but they did. What did the Jews do? They spat at German culture. How? They controlled the theater, publishing, the stores, and so on. Of course, Jews have a two-thousand-year-old culture, too, but it is not the German culture, which is so different.” (Goldensohn on Alfred Rosenberg, p. 264).

Regarding antisemitism, “…Sauckel, believed it was brought on because there was too high a percentage of Jews in positions of prominence in Germany, in state offices, professions, the stage, radio, and so forth.” (Goldensohn on Fritz Sauckel, p. 271).

CONCLUSION

It is high time that the blame-Christianity crowd drops their calumny against Christianity!
