Today is tragic day for the Polish people that began with the collaboration of the Germans and the Soviets during the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact.

This led to the invasion by the Soviets on September 17th 1939 as they were already fighting off the Germans in the west.
Poland was pressed between two ruthless war machines – Germany and Soviet Russia.
This event is little known because the Soviets would become allies with the “allies” when betrayed by the Germans for convenience.
So much of history has a way of avoiding unsettling and hard questions. Some of those that were involved in that unsettling history other than face it, will rewrite it, like the Russians are doing and … the Jewish lobby ( admin.)
Another sad part of this history was the betrayal within Poland itself.
Many of the Polish citizens that were not of the Polish ethnicity turned in their neighbors collaborating with the Soviets ( especially those of jewish minority and Ukrainians).
These actions in part helped lead to some of the deportations of an estimated 1.5 million ethnic Poles into the depths of Siberia, some never returning, this part of history is practically unknown.
Another aspect we must never forget from this invasion is the Katyn massacre, an event denied for decades by Russia and only admitted by those in the west when convenient for maneuverings in the Cold War.
The Soviets would occupy Poland for decades continuing to persecute, silence, and murder the Poles that tried to stand up for their freedom, all while the world was mostly silent.
Up until only recently the Polish are now able to tell their side of the story, while for decades others wrote their history often times incorrectly, shamefully, and not factually and in some of the most despicable ways in order to cover up their own crimes against Poland and the ethnic Poles.
