Children’s Day Nazi German style in occupied Poland

During the occupation, the Germans had no mercy for Polish children …
June 1, 1943 – Sochy, a small village in the Lublin region, near Biłgoraj a German punitive expedition slaughtered the inhabitants of the village for helping the partisans. The Germans, not just the Nazis, killed everyone regardless of age or gender.
They killed 45 children, 52 women and 88 men.
Among those who survived testifying to genocide were: Helena and Jan Sochowie, Teresa Ferenc, Danuta Skrzypa, Bronisława Szawara, Helena Rataj, Stanisław Psiuk, Stefania and Michał Dyjak.
After the massacre, which occurred at the traditional Polish Children’s Day, the so-called ‘noble’ German swastika “knights” called in their air force, which added their last act to this tragedy – bombarding the village to the ground.
The whole action was commanded by an Austrian – Odilo Globocnik. Arrested after the war by the Allies, poisoned himself. He was responsible for the displacement of the Zamość region population, the murders of Poles and Jews and for the genocide in the Balkans.

Was there ever any mass grave excavated?
About 1850
there was an organized movement of so called ‘orphans’.in Europe.
Children in the hundreds of thousands were taken from the streets and from families and sent to Institutions, Orphanages and far flung communities and families.
In the US of A ‘Orphan Trains’ carried tens of thousands of ‘foundlings’ and street urchins and children of immigrants from Europe..
These trains were sent from the East Coast cities and towns to the Mid West and beyond. The children were displayed at show stops and given away to anyone who wanted them.
They were given new identities and new histories and vanished into the past.

Poland – 1850 – under German occupation.
Is there a history of ‘orphan’ collections in Poland ? What happened to babies of unmarried mothers ? Who controlled orphanages ? Were children sent to German ports ?
Maybe, things were different in Catholic Poland. But, St. Petersburg and Moscow were cleared of children.
This sounds like a typical holocaust story.
