Nazi Germany War Crimes in Occupied Poland
Krysia Trześniewska was a 14-year-old Polish girl.
She was murdered on May 18, 1943, in the Auschwitz German extermination camp.
She was brought to the camp on December 13, 1942, from the transit camp in Zamość.
This was the result of the first stage of the eventual murderous ethnic cleansing ahead of the projected Germanization of the entire General Government territory.
Historians estimate that 116,000 people in total were forcibly removed from Zamojszczyzna, among them 30,000 children.
