Kukiz’15 MP, Marek Jakubiak drew attention to Fulop’s ethnic background and the history of his family. The mayor is a Jew of American descent and a descendant of Polish Holocaust survivors.

In PiS’s opinion, the American should apologize to Senator, Stanisław Karczewski, because the language he used is unacceptable.
“Either he will apologize or he will be disgraced, and his political adventure will end after this term,” he emphasized.
“I might as well call him a white anti-Semite, because the Jews who died during World War II were Polish citizens. We can say everything, but words have power and consequences. It’s not Marshal Karczewski, but mayor Fulop, who denies the Holocaust,” said the parliamentarian.
