This work indicts both non-Jewish and especially Jewish leaders (e. g. Yitzhak Greenbaum: p. 50, 258) for having failed to have alleviated the Holocaust. Far from being some sort of superficial or self-hating Jew, Hecht identifies with his Jewishness and is proud of it. (p. v). He also praises the Israelis for their achievements in constructing a nation. (pp. 7-8).

Hecht identifies the main reason for the Israelis’ soft-peddling of German guilt: “The Jewish Prime Minister is probably putting over a deal with the Germans. Something helpful for Israel’s economy. He has already put over several neat ones, recently a large sale of Israel manufactured submachine guns for to the German army.” (p. 46).

Defenders of Hungarian Zionist Jew Rudolf Kastner (Kasztner) argue that his obtaining the release of nearly 1,700 Hungarian Jews, in return for being deliberately silently deceptive (p. 178, pp. 260-261) on the impending extermination of the remaining half-million, was justified because the latter were all doomed anyway. Hecht strongly disagrees with this exculpation, and considers Kastner a worse Nazi collaborator than Petain or Quisling. (p. 172; The locals also consider him a war criminal: p. 173). Hecht points to the fact that there was only a thin contingent of Germans and Hungarian collaborators guarding the Jews (p. 95), and many Jews could have overpowered or evaded these guards, and avoided the Auschwitz-bound trains, had they been warned. In Kluj, Kastner’s home town, for example, 20,000 Jews were guarded by a handful of armed Germans. (p. 102). What’s more, the Hungarian Jews were planning armed resistance (p. 98), and the Germans could not afford a repeat of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising because of their rapidly-deteriorating military situation, as well as the fact that there were many foreign eyewitnesses in Budapest.

Those who suggest that the trucks-for-Jews deal (involving Joel Brand and Adolf Eichmann, and eventuating the release of up to a million Jews in exchange for thousands of trucks, etc.), was a hoax, point to the fact that the mass extermination of Jews at Auschwitz was not halted for even one day. What they forget is the fact that, as a precondition for halting the gassings and releasing 100,000 Jews initially as a good-faith measure (pp. 220-221, 229-231), Brand had to return after discussing the matter with Allied and Jewish officials. He was not allowed to do so!

The book ‘Perfidy’, written by playwright Ben Hecht in 1961, is the single most damning statement to date on the interchangeability of the British-Zionist cabal that ran Israel during its early years and the leadership of the Nazis. It detailes Kastner’s collaboration with Heinrich Himmler, Adolf Eichmann, and others with such precision that his book was suppressed, censored, and removed from libraries. Hecht’s wife, who after his death tried to get the book republished, has been subjected to pressure and threats from the Zionist lobby in the U.S.

For anyone with a genuine interest in history,  this book is a revealing insight, that goes some way to confirming many of us long held suspicion, that there was far more to the interment of Jews, by Germany, than meets the eye. It has always been my intuitive position, that the National Socialists movement were entirely faciliated, financed, and promoted, by those that desired to use them in order to meet their long term aims.
By his own admission, the credited founder of Zionism said himself, that Zionist Jews must set out to induce and then use antisemitism, for their (Zionist Jews), furtherment.
All of this was said long before Hitler came to power in Germany.
Rather than a whimsical idea, this was an admission by Herzl that Zionist Jews should use all and every methods they could to induce antipathy, and then use that. In short – a plot, in which lower class Jews would be the ‘sacrifice’, and NS the eventual fall guys.

Some excerpts from Perfidy below quoted from ” Eichmann’s Confessions” published in the November 28 and December 5, 1960 editions of Life magazine.

” In Hungary my basic orders were to ship all the Jews out of Hungary in as short a time as possible. Now, after years of working behind a desk, I had come out into the raw reality of the field.

As Muller put it, they had sent me, the “master” himself, to make sure the Jews did not revolt as they had in the Warsaw Ghetto. I use the word “master” in quotation marks because people used it to describe me. Since they had sent the “master,” however, I wanted to act like a master. I resolved to show how well a job could be done when the commander stands 100 percent behind it.

By shipping the Jews off in a lightning operation, I wanted to set an example for future campaigns elsewhere…. In obedience to Himmler’s directive, I now concentrated on negotiations with the Jewish political officials in Budapest … among them Dr. Rudolf Kastner, authorized representative of the Zionist Movement. This Dr. Kastner was a young man about my age, an ice-cold lawyer and a fanatical Zionist. He agreed to help keep the Jews from resisting deportation — and even keep order in the collection camps — if I would close my eyes and let a few hundred or a few thousand young Jews emigrate illegally to Palestine. It was a good bargain. For keeping order in the camps, the price … was not too high for me….”
