Letter to Bono from hyper-nationalistic Poland
Bono, the Irish-born singer and songwriter who is lead vocalist of the rock band U2, has blasted Hungary and Poland in the context of the fight against terrorism and the global refugee crisis as examples of “hyper-nationalism”.
In testimony before a Senate subcommittee at Capitol Hill, the musician called on members to take swift action to deal with the global refugee crisis and terrorism.
Bono talked about the flood of people fleeing their homes and called it a human torrent threatening the very idea of European unity. He urged lawmakers to think of foreign aid as national security instead of charity.
“When aid is structured properly, with a focus on fighting poverty and improving governance, it could just be the best bulwark we have against the extremism of our age,” Bono said.
“Existential threat”
Bono said members of Congress need to confront an “existential threat” to Europe that hasn’t been seen since the 1940s.
He claimed that countries such as Poland and Hungary are moving to the right politically, a shift he described as a “hyper nationalism”, as the UK is set for a referendum on EU membership in June. “This is unthinkable stuff,” he said. “And you should be very nervous in America about it”, the U2 frontman said at the hearing.
Africa, in particular, is grappling with what Bono called a phenomenon of three extremes – ideology, poverty and climate. “Those three extremes make one unholy trinity of an enemy and our foreign policy needs to face in that direction,” he said. “It’s even bigger than you think.”

A singer, known as Bono had set aside his musical instrument and CRITICALLY spoke of Polish nationalism, confusing it with PATRIOTISM.
He said only what he knew, which wasn’t much. He was possibly told that by European lefties.
Poland and Hungary are “hyper-nationalistic” ? !!
It was supposed to be a criticism, but it turned out to be a beautiful compliment for us instead.

Germany has around 73 thousand Muslims for you. They do not know to whom and where to shove them in. They’re yours for the taking right away, home delivery, if you care so much for them, to your ranch or your mansion. You celebrity status does not give you the right to influence and dictate other countries how to run their internal politics regarding economical immigrants.
Let them solve their problems in their own countries!
Poland has problems of her own and compatriots left behind in former Polish territories that were given by Stalin to Ukraine, Lithuania and Belarus. These Poles are still waiting for permission to come to Poland. Poland has the right to preserve her heritage and national tradition. Polish nation watches the events taking place in France, Sweden, Germany and Danmark.
It would be fair to address the aggressive politics of the United States of America and Israel, who are the main reasons for the destabilization in the Middle East and Africa. They are the war-mongering ganster-banksters hungry for oil and world’s resources. They are the reason for peoples movement and dislocation.

Eastern Europe is awakening and some people are afraid of it.
Eastern Europe is definitely the future of advanced human society. Their so-called “backwardness” as it is often sarcastically used by some anti-Polish and anti-Slavic morons, now will hopefully save them from the crazy contemporary social experiments that infect the west and they will be well positioned to learn from it as they are becoming more advanced.

The country where for the money counterfeiting you can get 25 years’ imprisonment but for murder just 15 years.
The country where (except in certain specified cases) one cannot, without the permission of an official, cut down trees on their own property.
The country wherein the former finance minister needed 8 deputy finance ministers to be able to “effectively” manage the finances of the state.
The country where one earns more in the public sector than the private sector.
The country where a non-working pensioner must pay income tax.
The country where the communist son of a judge, who used to sentence the Polish patriots to death, becomes minister of justice.
The country where the communist criminals have honourable burials at the Powazki Cemetary (one for true Polish patriots, the graves of many illustrious individuals from the Polish history).
The country where speed cameras are hidden in the garbage pails thus pretending to fight against highway menaces/road-hogging.
The country in which one can gather a group of teenagers and have someone beaten up fatally in order to avoid responsibility for the murder.
The country in which it’s easier to get a glider pilot’s license than to pass the driving test.
The country where prostitutes are exempt from paying taxes, and excise duty is levied on the ambulances used to rescue life.
The country (Poland) with a population of over 38 million inhabitants wherein the Parliament has 460 deputies whilst the US House of Representatives has 435 members in the country (the USA) with a population of over 314 million inhabitants.
The country where the natural resources of the land that one has bought do not belong to the owner.
The country where the trains run slower than before the 2nd World War.
The country in which a driver paying road tax must pay extra so as to pass along a highway built with money from the state budget (the citizens’ taxes).
The country in which the unprofitable factories are subsidized with billions of zlotys to maintain jobs whereas at the same time hospitals are short of money for normal meals and drugs, e.g. for cancer.
The country in which first the would-be Master, and then the “shogun” on the chair (president Komorowski in the Japanese Parliament), apologized for “crimes” in Jedwabne.
The country where for using the words “Negro”, “Wog”, or “Jew” you can be convicted in Article 256 of the Penal Code.
The country where tax offices in the same locality can have a different interpretation of the same provision.
The country where both the right wing and the left one, in one chorus, vote in favour of granting the Jews the compensation for the harm suffered at the hands of the Germans and Russians on the Polish soil.
The country in which “a paratrooper” (candidate with no definite persuasion) who receives 7 thousand votes in the election gets to the Sejm (the lower house of the Polish parliament), but someone who receives 200 thousand votes doesn’t get to the Sejm because the party he starts with doesn’t exceed the required 5% of the votes.
The country where the parents mustn’t decide on what their children can be eating at school.
The country politicians of which sign the Treaty of Lisbon and then pretend to fight for the welfare of the Polish nation – especially against the influx of Muslim Arabs and Negros into Poland.
The country in which the VAT is so complicated that commentary on it takes more than 2 thousand pages of paperwork.
The country where the number of signposts per km2, the BIEDRONKA supermarkets and banks exceeds all levels of absurdity.
The country where the Internet portal for the homeless could cost 50 million zlotys, 1 km of highway can cost more than 200 million zlotys, the National Stadium in Warsaw is more expensive than the National Stadium in Munich, and Mozejki (Mažeikiai refinery in Lithuania owned by the Polish PKN Orlen oil refiner) cost 11 billion zlotys which no-one wants to buy now.
The country where on pension privileges were issued nearly 800 billion zlotych – for this money you would fly to MARS.
The country wherein, with one signature, one (the President) was able to rob Poles of OFE savings (Open Pension Fund savings) and not incur any penalty for it.
The country where a murderer and a gunman have more rights than a victim.
The country where you mustn’t use the oil obtained from the cannabis for the treatment of diseases such as epilepsy and multiple sclerosis.
The country where it’s better to be an alcoholic and unemployed than a man honestly working and paying taxes.
The country where you can gather a million signatures of citizens against harmful laws for themselves and the Authority gives no shit about it anyway.
The country in which the finance ministry has 32 departments and 7 offices, a number of officials in this country exceeding 500 thousand people – it is estimated that it could even be as many as one million people.
The country where the tax-free amount (3091 zlotys) is slightly higher than in Ghana and lower than in Zambia. The tax-free amount is lower than the subsistence minimum – 541, 91 zlotys for year 2014.
The country where the Constitution, created by the former communists of the Democratic Left Alliance, the deceased Communist Party as well as the Solidarity members, is one of the most unconstitutional constitutions in Europe.
The country where the Parliament is suffering from a permanent “legislative diarrhoea”.
The country where one person must work till 67 years of age to receive a pension while another one just 15 years.
The country where the prime minister, against the will of the Nation, is willing to accept “refugees” for whom the Polish citizens will be made obliged to pay – how otherwise can it be defined as not audacious theft.
It is worthwhile giving this text a fair amount of thought and widely disseminating it among the Polish Society (and abroad as well) – rational appeal from the Committee of Remembrance for Victims of Stalinism – dr Leszek Skonka.
